Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for the activity on your account. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to enter a binding agreement. Parents are responsible for any student logins they create.

Subscriptions and billing

• Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through our payment processor until you cancel.
• You can change or cancel your plan at any time from the billing portal; access continues through the end of the period you have paid for.
• Prices and plan limits (such as the number of students and included storage) are shown at sign-up and may change with notice.
• Applicable sales tax is added where we are required to collect it.

Refunds

If something goes wrong, contact us. Refunds are handled case by case at our discretion.

Acceptable use

Use the service lawfully. Do not attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service, upload unlawful content, or use it to harm others. Community posts must follow our Community Guidelines.

Your content

You keep ownership of the records and files you upload. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store, process, and display that content back to you so the product works.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update features and these terms over time, and we will note the date of the latest version.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an as-is basis. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months. Chalk and Chart is a record-keeping tool and is not legal advice about homeschooling requirements; you are responsible for meeting the rules in your jurisdiction.
